Product Introduction

The GZ4232 CNC Automatic Horizontal Band Saw Machine is designed for efficient and precise cutting of medium-sized round bars, pipes, plates, and various ferrous metal materials. With a maximum cutting capacity of Ø320 mm for round material and 320 mm for plate material, it is suitable for continuous and batch cutting applications.

The machine integrates mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and PLC control systems to provide automatic clamping, automatic feeding, hydraulic cutting-feed control, automatic counting and automatic saw-frame return. Its combination of a touchscreen interface and push-button controls makes operation simple and flexible.

A rear hydraulic feeding system with grating-scale positioning enables automatic length control, while multiple feeding cycles can be used for workpieces longer than the single-feed stroke. The machine can achieve a finished cutting-length accuracy of ±0.2 mm, with cutting squareness meeting the applicable national standard stated in the technical documentation.

Automation Features

1. CNC Automatic Cutting

The GZ4232 uses a PLC control system combined with a touchscreen HMI to automate the cutting cycle. Operators can set the required cutting length and quantity, return the machine to its reference position, and start automatic cutting. Once the preset quantity has been completed, the machine automatically stops.

2. Automatic Hydraulic Clamping

The machine uses hydraulic clamping to secure the workpiece during cutting. The front and rear clamping systems work together to maintain stable workpiece positioning and reduce movement during the cutting process.

3. Automatic Feeding

The rear feeding system uses hydraulic feeding and grating-scale positioning for controlled material positioning.

The single feeding stroke can be set from 2 to 400 mm. When a longer feeding length is required, multiple feeding cycles can be performed automatically.

4. Hydraulic Infinitely Variable Feed Control

The saw-blade feed movement is controlled hydraulically. The adjustable feed system allows the cutting feed rate to be adapted to different material conditions and cutting requirements.

5. Automatic Saw-Frame Return

After the cutting process is completed, the saw frame automatically returns quickly, helping reduce non-cutting time and improve production efficiency.

6. Automatic Cutting Quantity Control

Operators can set the required cutting length and quantity through the HMI. The control system automatically counts completed pieces and stops the machine after the preset quantity has been reached.

7. Manual & Automatic Operation

The machine supports both automatic and manual cutting modes. Manual controls allow individual machine movements to be operated when small quantities of material or maintenance operations are required.

8. Automatic Chip Removal

A wire-brush chip removal system cleans residual chips from the band saw blade. Coolant supplied by the cooling pump helps remove chips from the blade teeth, reducing tooth-gullet blockage and helping extend blade service life.

9. Safety Protection

The machine includes an automatic stop function when blade breakage is detected. The main electrical system is also equipped with circuit protection, while the hydraulic control system uses a 24V safety-control voltage.
