The GB4250 Double-Column Horizontal Metal Band Saw Machine is a heavy-duty metal cutting solution designed for large workpieces and a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Developed with reference to advanced foreign band sawing technologies, the GB4250 is specifically designed for applications involving high-hardness alloy metals. Its optimized transmission system, increased main motor power and higher band saw speed provide efficient cutting performance. The machine can achieve even better cutting results when used with the recommended cutting fluid and dedicated band saw blade.
The GB4250 features a large main column and auxiliary column guide structure, providing stable support for the saw frame. The columns are hard-chrome plated to reduce wear and improve service life. Hydraulic saw-frame lifting, bearing-supported blade guides and adjustable tungsten-carbide guide blocks help maintain blade stability and cutting accuracy.
With a maximum cutting capacity of Ø500 mm or 600 mm wide * 500 mm high, the GB4250 is suitable for large steel billets and other oversized metal workpieces.
The GB4250 was developed specifically with high-hardness alloy metals in mind. Its high-speed, high-efficiency design and reinforced transmission system make it suitable for demanding metal cutting applications.

The saw frame uses column guidance combined with hydraulic cylinder drive for vertical movement. The hydraulic system also handles workpiece clamping, feeding and material return operations.
The blade guide system uses rolling bearings and adjustable tungsten-carbide guide blocks to support the saw blade. The guide arms can be adjusted according to workpiece dimensions, helping keep the blade perpendicular to the worktable and reducing vibration.
